We have several new job openings for HCI researchers at Hasselt University – iMinds:
- We have a research associate computer science – specialization ‘human-computer interaction’ available for a researcher to work on projects related with interaction and healthcare innovation. The new research will initially work on the iMinds FallRisk project, performing research and development on mobile interaction to support people and caregivers in fall prevention and resolution for elderly. Mobile development skills and a keen interest in interaction and software are strongly appreciated for this job. This work is done in collaboration with others in the context of the iMinds ICON FallRisk project.
- There is also a PhD student computer science, specialisation ‘human-computer interaction, position available in which we will work on professional translations interfaces to improve the efficiency of (communities of) translators. The systems currently used by professional translators, are susceptible to improvement in many areas. This work is done in collaboration with others in the context of the IWT SBO SCATE project.
